YOGA IS FOR EVERYBODY and EVERY BODY

NAMASTE (The light in me, sees and honors the light in you.)

As a yoga instructor, the top five recurring things I hear often from potential students about why they have not tried yoga or gave up on yoga are:

1. I am not flexible.

2. I am too old.

3. I am overweight.

4. I have too many health issues.

5. I did not fit in.

Well, I'd like to bust a few yoga myths right now...

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE - thin, young, flexible, well, or perfect - TO PRACTICE YOGA.

You DO have to be - WILLING, CONSISTENT, PATIENT and PRESENT.

 

Showing up is the hardest part.  Once you are on the mat, it's time to focus on your breath and your body.  It's time to let go and at the same time find boundaries and control.

If you have never tried YOGA, please find a traditional studio, with an authentic and educated instructor and start your yoga journey.

If you've never tried YOGA, NOW is the time.  You won't regret it.
